EA Sports FC Takes the Esports Nations Cup Stage

One hundred and twenty-eight players will compete in 1v1 play on PS5 for a share of a $600,000 prize pool, with national pride on the line across a week of high-pressure competition.

Tournament Details: Format, Dates, and Qualifiers

The Esports Nations Cup runs from November 2nd through November 29th, with EA SPORTS FC taking place during the third week of competition from November 17th through November 22nd. It will feature 128 players competing across a multi-stage format.

The tournament opens with a round-robin group stage featuring 128 players split into 16 groups of eight, with all group matches played as best-of-one. The top four players from each group will advance from group play, narrowing the field to 64 competitors. The 64 qualified players will compete in a single-elimination playoff bracket, with all matches played as best-of-one until the ENC gold medal is decided.

Of the 128 total competitors, 64 players will qualify through direct invites, 56 through regional qualifiers, and eight through wildcard entries. Direct invites are determined by the official EA SPORTS FC Pro World Rankings, with invitations limited to one player per nation to ensure broad global representation.

The cut-off date for determining direct invites via the EA SPORTS FC Pro World Rankings is July 26th.

Regional qualifiers for EA SPORTS FC will take place from July 27th through August 2nd. Regional qualifiers consist of an open in-game ladder, followed by a Swiss stage and a double-elimination bracket to determine which players advance.

Regional qualifiers will be hosted across Africa, North Asia, South Asia, Western Europe, Eastern Europe, North Latin America, South Latin America, North America, Oceania, and the Middle East.

Nations with one directly invited player may qualify one additional player through regional qualifiers, while nations without a direct invite may qualify up to two players, guaranteeing representation from at least 64 nations.
