32 teams from around the world will compete for national pride and ENC gold in one of esports’ biggest titles in Riyadh, November 21-29, 2026

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (June 18, 2026) - The Esports Foundation (EF) today confirmed the official team rosters and direct invite recipients for the League of Legends tournament at the Esports Nations Cup 2026 (ENC), the global nation-based esports competition set to debut in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia from November 2-29, 2026.
112 rosters representing 112 countries and territories have been officially submitted for League of Legends at ENC 2026. 32 of those rosters will compete at the ENC Finals for League of Legends, with 16 countries and territories receiving direct invitations through the official ENC 2026 Rankings. The system has scored, accumulated, and ranked submitted roster player performances across all official Riot Games competitions through June 14, 2026. Those invited countries and territories, and their submitted rosters, are:
Topping the list as the number one favourite at ENC 2026 for League of Legends is the People’s Republic of China, a team that consists of world-class international performers and three world champions (Tian, JackeyLove, and Flandre). The roster also features a strong Bilibili Gaming core of Bin, Knight, and ON, with the trio fresh off winning their third LPL split in a row as well as First Stand 2026.
It should also come as no shock to anyone that the Republic of Korea, a country with the richest League of Legends history, stands out as a top-ranked invite. Between these six players, they have won a combined 16 World Championships, with the most decorated player of all time, Faker, accounting for six all on his own. Joining him is his T1 teammate and fellow EWC 2024 winner Keria, as well as EWC 2025 winner and Gen.G jungler Canyon, and the Hanwha Life Esports trio of Zeus, Gumayusi, and Zeka.
Both the Republic of Korea and the People’s Republic of China come into the ENC League of Legends event as clear standouts given their rosters’ international successes. However, that doesn’t mean that there aren’t other regions that are looking to cause an upset and make a name for themselves on the global stage.
Representing the United States is an LCS superteam featuring LCS Spring 2026 winner Dhokla from LYON, the Cloud9 duo of Blaber and APA, breakout bot lane player Yeon from Team Liquid, and EWC 2026-bound Sentinels support veteran Huhi. Meanwhile, Europe is packed with notable national rosters that are headlined by some of the LEC’s star players. Denmark aims to make an impact at ENC 2026 with iconic players such as Caps and Wunder, Türkiye is led by G2 Esports’ BrokenBlade, while Spain’s roster features MKOI star Elyoya.
However, all eyes will be on the French team. Placing third on the ENC Rankings, the European country boasts a litany of talent, including G2 Esports’ Hans Sama and SkewMond, as well as one of Europe's biggest prodigies Caliste.
With the rankings locked and the invites sent out, attention now turns to the online regional qualifiers. 14 teams will qualify through online regional qualifiers that will take place June 19-21, with two teams qualifying for each of the following seven regions: Asia, North America, South America, Western Europe, Eastern Europe, Southeast Asia & Oceania, and Middle East & Africa. The final two teams will be determined through Wildcard slots, one as a Solidarity Slot and one as a Host Region Slot.
The Esports Nations Cup (ENC) is a biennial global esports competition created by the Esports Foundation (EF) that brings national pride to the world stage. Launching in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, in 2026, the ENC will feature the world’s best players competing not for their clubs, but for their countries and territories, across a lineup of leading esports titles. Built in collaboration with game partners, clubs, and esports organizations, the ENC establishes the first recurring, large-scale platform for national teams in esports. Beyond competition, it aims to fuel fandom, inspire heroes, and provide sustainable pathways for nations, players, and partners to grow within the global esports ecosystem. esportsnationscup.com
