Meet the ENC 26 Field: Trackmania

Trackmania makes its Esports Nations Cup debut in Riyadh, where 32 nations will compete for national pride in one of esports' purest tests of speed and precision. Shifting the focus from clubs to nations, the inaugural tournament will determine which country can master the virtual roads and claim the first-ever ENC Trackmania title.

Heading into Riyadh, all eyes are on Carl-Antoni "Carl Jr." Cloutier, the most decorated player in Trackmania history. The Canadian has won seven world championships and built a reputation for delivering on the biggest stages, making him the favorite to lead his nation to the inaugural ENC title.

But claiming gold won't be easy. Standing in his way are 31 of the world's best drivers, with half qualifying through the Trackmania Elite Cup Rankings and the other half earning their places through fiercely contested regional qualifiers.

Leading the charge

Among them will be his 2025 World Championship-winning teammate Thomas "Pac" Cole, who will now become one of his biggest challengers with Team Great Britain. France and Germany are also sending respectable line-ups including Alexandre “Binks” Touche and Nico "GranaDy" Gyarmati as the number one and two of the Elite Cup Ranking.

The unique national team format adds another layer of pressure to an already unforgiving game. In Trackmania, the difference between setting the fastest time and clipping a wall can come down to a fraction of a second or a single lapse in concentration. With every run carrying the weight of national pride, there is little room for error.

Flying under the radar

Trackmania has traditionally been dominated by European competitors. Carl Jr. was the main exception to that rule until recently. A dangerous speed-demon has risen from down-under in the form of Patrick "Mudda" Radisich. The Australian has proven he can compete with the best on any track-type, and is someone to look out for in the race for the ENC 26 trophy.

New rivalries begin here

Fans can look forward to Trackmania's signature Cup Mode, where four drivers battle head-to-head in a high-pressure race to the finish. With the world's best competitors knowing each other's strengths, weaknesses and appetite for risk, every heat promises split-second decisions and dramatic finishes.

Trackmania at Esports Nations Cup 2026 runs from November 19-22, with 32 nations competing for a share of the $250,000 prize pool and the honor of becoming the inaugural ENC champions. Follow the action as one nation races its way into the history books.
