Tournament Format

Street Fighter 6 at the Esports Nations Cup will use a 4-on-4 Team Battle format, with each match decided by four 1v1 games where every player competes once, and a sudden-death tiebreaker used if the score reaches 2-2. The tournament begins with 24 teams placed into four round robin groups of six, with the top four teams from each group advancing. Sixteen teams then move into a single-elimination playoff bracket, with best-of-four matches throughout and a best-of-eight grand final.

Team rosters are assembled through two qualification pathways: Invited Countries & Territories and Qualified Countries & Territories. For Invited Countries & Territories, the highest-ranked player from that country in the World Warrior Ranking earns the first roster spot, with the remaining three positions awarded to the top three players in the ENC Ranking. For Qualified Countries & Territories, the player who wins the regional qualifier becomes the first roster member and team captain. The second spot is assigned to the highest-ranked player from that Country/Territory in the World Warrior Ranking, while the final two positions go to the next two highest-ranked players in the ENC Ranking.
